Some ancient rocks

Salisbury and Salisbury Plains today which included Stonehenge and Old Sarum. A wet and windy day. However the misty atmosphere seemed appropriate to this mystic place!

I'll take your photo if you'll take mine! A problem when you're travelling on your own. You do look silly trying to take your own picture, but you've got to prove you were there!

Gee time flies

Into the fourth week of my journey and I've been so slack with my posts! I will endeavour to make up for that in my last four weeks here. Check out my flickr link for new photos.

Set .....and gone

It was a close call though, cancelled one day, reinstated the next. Rough flight, must of picked up a bug or food poisoning. On the mend by the time I got to Paris. Weather here has been great - perfect - though there are some clouds gathering this afternoon.

Apartment is perfect - comfortable and with easy access to public transport. On transport - French drivers are crazy! There are buses and bikes everywhere, and what happens at roundabouts is truly terrifying. This city is big and everything in it is bigger. Done heaps of walking, and more as I constantly get lost. I should know by now not to rely on my sense of direction. I've seen parts of Paris, that many may not know exist!

Not quite, but getting there. How many times can one person repack their bags?

Finished work now - my holidays have started. Sunk in yet? Nope.

Six more sleeps - or sleepless nights thinking of all those things I have or more worryingly, haven't done yet. Anyway at least I've made a start on this blog!
